A Brief History
Liberty Christian Centre was officially launched in 1999. The Senior Pastor; Bishop Dr. Kepha Omae took a bold step of faith and obedience to the Lord and began the work with a congregation of about 25 members.
The beginning was not an easy one as the location at that time was considered a wilderness and no church was thriving at all along Mombasa road.
Despite all the prevalent challenges in the area, Bishop Omae and a few brethren who believed in his vision steered on and today we look back and say the Indeed the Lord is Ebenezer.

Unity of purpose: Endeavouring to keep unity in the fellowship “Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there may be no divisions among you, but you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.1 Cor 1:10
Faithful Stewardship: 1 Cor 4:2 moreover it is required in stewards that one be found faithful.
Integrity: We are committed to moral uprightness, honesty, and accountability.
Titus 2:7
Excellence: We are committed to perfection in all aspects of Kingdom service. 1 Timothy 6:11
Courage of conviction: Believing and defending the truth of God’s word at all costs. For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believes – Romans 1:16
Godly love: We respond selflessly to the needs of the community. Gal 6:2 Bear one another’s burdens, fulfilling the law of Christ.
